About Camp Real Estate School
Camp Real Estate School curriculum and instruction is designed to
provide the information needed to assist students in preparing for the State exams to
receive either a real estate salesperson or brokers license. With over 35 years of
educational, residential brokerage and development experience, the students will not be
limited to textbook theory teaching, but will also gain from the practical experience of a
highly qualified classroom instructor.
Camp Real Estate School is approved by the Arkansas Real Estate
Commission and the State Board of Private Career Education to offer the required
pre-licensing courses for those seeking to obtain an Arkansas Real Estate Salesperson or
Brokers License. Also, the school is approved for a number of different continuing
education courses which are required for existing licensed agents.
A student is required to obtain the required educational courses
from an approved school before they will be permitted by law to sit for the State
exams.

In addition to the classroom
instruction, the course fee includes the student's textbook, workbook,
supplemental materials, Arkansas Licensee Law and Regulations materials and the
Promissor
Candidates Guide. The Student will need to bring a pen, notebook paper and a small hand
held calculator to class beginning with the first day of class.
Consistent with the published (Promissor) topics for test question
development, the class will explore in depth the course of study outlined below to help
prepare the student for exam passage:
- Real property characteristics, definitions,
ownership, restrictions, and transfer
- Assessing and explaining property valuation
and the appraisal process
- Contracts, agency relationships with buyers
and sellers, and federal requirements
- Financing the transaction and settlement
- Leases, rents, and property management
- Duties and Powers of the Real Estate
Commission
- Licensing Requirements
- Statutory requirements governing the
activities of licensees
- Other statutory requirements
- Agency Relationships and Disclosures
- Brokers' Practice and Requirements (Brokers
only)

Once a student has completed their
educational requirements from Camp Real Estate School, they will proceed under the guidelines as established by law and the Arkansas Real
Estate Commission.
